Fantastic addition to all MCU figure collections! It is a beautiful version of the Iron Spider-man!
Overall, this figure is fantastic, especially the head sculpt and all the accessories. The head sculpt is ridiculously impressive (even more so in real life) and looks exactly like Tom Holland; I couldn’t be happier with that part. And the accessories are awesome; it’s great that they included so many. You get a total of three heads (including one with light-up eyes), four detachable spider legs, a multitude of hands, and some other stuff like webbing pieces. I couldn’t be happier with what is included or the quality of the accessories. However, there is one drawback that brings it from 5 stars down to 4. That drawback is the material of which the suit is crafted. It is fairly fragile and prone to ripping/stretching if the figure is posed dynamically. This is a bit of a disappointment since Spider-Man is a character who should be posed dynamically, but it is not a dealbreaker because the rest of the figure is so good. I have mine posed in a normal standing pose and it still looks amazing. So I would say definitely pick this guy up if you get the chance, but be aware that you’ll probably have to just leave him in a normal standing pose.
Be careful with this piece. Put it in a case and only touch with gloves. Oils from your hands will cause the material to warp and lose the 'new car' look and texture. Dynamic poses as many other reviews have stated are almost impossible without damaging a stitch or stretching the material's design. Its an extremely basic figure design. I love the lighting in the head and the accessories that came with this figure. Overall its a 3 star figure.....I can't rate it higher, but don't think 3 is bad either; I have just come to expect so much more from Hot Toys overall due to the nature of their more premium figures. This is a great starter purchase for a basic figure. It could be a bit cheaper though IMHO.
This dude is nice... BUT... You can ONLY museum pose this boy... This suit will SNAP, CRACKLE and POP leaving you furious. So be CAREFUL. I only got em cus... come on, how can you not have him in ur set and call yourself a TRUE MCU collector?? Again be CAREFUL....
Be very careful with this suit its very fragile to pose due to the material wise. I do not have my iron spider in any dynamic poses due to the material of the suit. I wish the neck joint could have some articulation and wish that the magnet on the head sculpt could be a little bit stronger because the head pops off easily.
