Finally got this figure in and I'm very glad I did, I got it just before it sold out and hit the waitlist. A very cool figure with beautiful Wakandan tribal designs in the outfit. Adding this completes my Black Panther collection, but I still wish Hot Toys would make figures of Okoye, M'Baku, Nokia and Klaw. This is fantastic figure though and a little underrated in my opinion. It doesn't have a regular headsculpt and it's light on accessories, that's the only thing that keeps me from giving this great figure 5 stars.
King T'Chaka was the first Hot Toy I've ever purchased. Needless to say it's become the catalyst for even more Hot Toy purchases. The work from the Panther suit to the African robe is very meticulous. The box artwork and insert are superb. Him along with the other Hot Toys in the Black Panther line have a permanent home on my entertainment center.
Truly a beautiful and amazing figure so glad I didn't pass on it. From the texture on the suit and gold appointments to the African Sash draped across his shoulder, and Awesome looking figure! Don't Miss it!
Incredible detail, spectacular sculpt and finishes on textures! I felt like T'challa's suit was always a little to simple, whereas Killmonger's suit was too over-the-top. T'chaka's is the perfect blend of subtle yet powerful. His cloth sash is an amazing touch of East African textile that makes him such a regal figure. 10/10 would buy again!
This has been a childhood dream to see this character represented on the big screen. Seeing a character that represents my native culture means a lot and the articulation, detail, and cloth detail is simply amazing!!!! Can't wait till T'Challa is released.
